Off-Road Accidents in Illinois
Sometimes, the roadway can be hypnotic, causing drivers to feel a false sensation of safety. When the road curves suddenly, or a hazard presents itself, drivers may end up leaving the roadway. When this happens, occupants can be seriously injured.
Off-road collisions were only involved in about 16 percent of all reported traffic accidents in 2005. However, that same year, 31 percent of all fatal collisions involved off-road crashes. These crashes can result in serious injuries, and injured parties may be eligible to recover financial compensation.
