Speeding is often a factor in serious car accidents. In fact, nearly 27 percent of all fatal crashes in 2017 involved high-speed collisions. These crashes are much more likely to result in severe injuries.

When drivers speed, they are less able to control their vehicles. This greatly increases the likelihood of being involved in a car accident. Injured victims should contact a Chicago car crash lawyer to protect their legal right to compensation.
