Chicago, IL – Closures On Dan Ryan Expy Due To Crash Near Bridgeport

Chicago, IL (December 14, 2019) – A collision on the Dan Ryan Expressway (I-90) in Chicago resulted in significant roadway closures on the highway. The crash took place near the Bridgeport area on Friday, December 13th, in the early morning at around 7:19 a.m. According to the Illinois State Police, the crash occurred near the intersection with I-55 (Stevenson Parkway).

The severity of the resulting injuries hasn’t yet been revealed by local sources. Two lanes of the Dan Ryan Expressway were blocked following the crash. Injured parties were evaluated by responding paramedics at the scene.

The account of this accident is still developing. An investigation into the crash is being handled by ISP.
