West Frankford, IL – Collision Blocks Lanes On I-57

West Frankfort, IL (November 29, 2019) – There were road closures on Interstate 57 NB due to a crash. The accident was reported on Wednesday, November 27th, near West Frankford, Illinois. Emergency responders arrived at the scene at around 9:16 p.m. that evening.

Authorities have not yet released the cause of the collision. The crash took place near mile marker 65 on I-57 NB. Emergency responders were present to provide medical aid to those involved in the crash.

The roadway was cleared of debris at around 10:06 p.m. Local law enforcement is conducting an investigation into the crash.
