The hazards of drunk driving are extremely apparent to all Americans. Despite increased awareness of the risks of driving while drunk, millions of intoxicated motorists get behind the wheel each year. These drivers have delayed reaction time and are much less able to react to hazards on the road.

Drunk driving takes lives daily in the United States. Nearly one-third of all crashes involve a drunk driver. Reckless drivers should be held accountable for their actions.
