Plainfield, IL (November 27, 2019) – A serious collision resulted in the closure of the intersection at IL-59 and Lockport St. The incident took place early in the morning on Tuesday, November 26th, at around 9 a.m. The collision resulted in serious injuries according to local sources.

Authorities reported that the crash involved two vehicles. One person sustained injuries and the crash and was transported to the Edward Emergency Department. Emergency responders at the scene were present to render aid to the injured victims.

There were no reported fatalities. An ongoing investigation into the crash is being handled by local law enforcement.
