Johnson Co, IL (October 27, 2020) – Three teenagers were killed and three others injured following a deadly single-vehicle collision in Johnson County on Sunday morning, October 25.
Local reports revealed that the site of the accident was located near the intersection of Ozark Road and Locust Street. A vehicle was reportedly traveling westbound on Ozark Road when it left the roadway and struck a tree at around 2:46 a.m. The driver of the vehicle, 28-year-old Jordan Davidson, was reportedly killed in the crash.
Two other identified occupants were also killed. Three other occupants were taken to a nearby medical facility for the treatment of sustained injuries. No further updates on the cause of the crash have been provided.
An ongoing investigation into the accident is being managed by the Illinois State Police.
