Pleasant Vale, IL - Pearce Chaplain Injured at 225th St & 255th Ave

Pleasant Vale, IL (June 30, 2020) - Two people were injured following a crash in Pleasant Vale Township on Sunday, June 28. The crash occurred at around 8:26 p.m. at the intersection of 225th Street and 255th Avenue. According to reports from state police, Amber House, 25, of Kinderhook, Illinois was traveling south when she failed to yield and struck a van traveling eastbound. 

The van was driven by Pearce Chaplain, 20, of Barry, Illinois. Chaplain and his passenger, Harold Kindle, 59, of Quincy, Illinois were injured in the accident. House was cited for failure to yield the right of way. No further updates have been provided.

Illinois State Police is currently investigating the cause of the crash.
