Pontoon Beach, IL – Deadly 18-Wheeler Collision on IL-111

Pontoon Beach, IL (May 9, 2020) – A two-vehicle collision involving a semi-truck resulted in fatal injuries in Pontoon Breach, Illinois on Friday morning, May 8th. The collision occurred on IL-111 near Schoolhouse Road at around 6:14 a.m. Local reports revealed that the accident involved a Honda passenger car that collided with a 2014 Mac Trash Truck.

When authorities arrived at the scene, the driver of the Honda was found dead. The cause of the crash hasn’t been reported at this time.

Local law enforcement officials are currently investigating the crash. No further updates are available.
