Indian Head Park, IL – Man Killed in Crash with Semi on I-294

Indian Head Park, IL (May 9, 2020) – A crash on Saturday morning, May 9th, involving a semi-truck resulted in the death of one man in Indian Head Park, Illinois. The accident occurred on I-294 near W. Plainfield Road at around 2:55 a.m. A 50-year-old man from Chicago Ridge was reportedly killed in the crash. 

A 2017 blue GMC veered off the highway and collided with a white semi that was parked on the side of the interstate. The driver of the GMC was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased party hasn’t been released at this time.

An ongoing investigation into the crash is being managed by local authorities.
