Chicago, IL – Multi-Vehicle Hit-&-Run Ends in Injuries on W 87th St

Chicago, IL (May 12, 2020) – In Chicago, a driver reportedly ran a red light and crashed into five vehicles on Monday night, May 11th. Authorities reported that a black Ford Fusion traveling west on W. 87th Street ran a red light and swerved into traffic. This caused a multi-vehicle collision involving six vehicles, including the Fusion.

The male driver of the Fusion fled the scene of the crash on foot. At this time, he is not in police custody. A 26-year-old woman in one of the vehicles was taken to St. Bernard’s Hospital for treatment.

Local authorities are currently investigating the cause of the crash.
