Chicago, IL – Man Struck in Hit-&-Run on I-290 at Western Ave

Chicago, IL (May 18, 2020) – A 26-year-old man from Waukegan, Illinois was killed in a hit-and-run accident in Chicago on Sunday, May 17th. The crash occurred on I-290 near Western Avenue. At around 3:30 a.m. that morning, the man had stopped to aid a vehicle involved in a rollover collision.

While the man was at the scene of the other accident, he was struck by another vehicle. The driver of that vehicle fled the scene. The man was hospitalized for treatment of sustained injuries.

Local officials are currently investigating the accident.
