Bond Co, IL - Lincoln Siebert Killed in Crash on IL-140

Bond Co, IL (May 25, 2020) - A 25-year-old Greenville man was killed and his passenger injured in a crash in Bond County on Sunday, May 24th. Local sources reported that a 1997 white Jeep crashed into a deer at the intersection of IL-140 and Mill Hill Road at around 4:28 a.m. The vehicle proceeded to leave the roadway and overturn. 

Both the driver and passenger of the Jeep were ejected in the crash. The driver, Lincoln Siebert, suffered fatal injuries. The Jeep's passenger, Tess Lohman, from Greenville, Illinois, was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the accident isn't known at this time. An ongoing investigation into the collisions is underway.
