Antioch, IL – Woman Ejected from Golf Cart on Beach Grove Rd

Antioch, IL (May 11, 2020) – A woman is in serious condition after being ejected from a golf cart in Antioch, Illinois on Saturday, May 9th. Emergency responders were called to the scene of the crash at the 24000 block of Beach Grove Road at around 7:20 p.m. When authorities arrived, a 48-year-old woman was found seriously injured. 

Initial reports revealed that a 37-year-old Antioch man was driving a golf cart west on Beach Grove Road. For unknown reasons, the golf cart left the roadway and struck an embankment. The female passenger was ejected and suffered serious injuries, and she was transported to Advocate Condell Medical Center for treatment.

The driver was uninjured. The crash is currently being investigated by local authorities.
