Rockford, IL – Accident with Injuries at Winnebago St & Pierce Ave

Rockford, IL (April 4, 2020) – A two-vehicle collision in Rockford, Illinois on Thursday, April 2nd, left at least one person injured. The accident reportedly occurred at the intersection of Winnebago Street and Pierce Avenue. When authorities arrived at the scene, they found a white van on the side of the road that had been hit by a dark-colored SUV. 

The SUV reportedly collided with the driver’s side of the van. The cause of the accident isn’t clear at this time and neither is the severity of the resulting injuries. The Rockford Police Department was dispatched to the scene to asses the damages.

An investigation into the accident is being handled by RPD.
