Pearl City, IL – Deadly Workplace Accident at Pearl Valley Eggs Co

Pearl City, IL (April 11, 2020) – Reports from the Stephenson County Sheriff’s Office revealed that a worker died in a fatal work accident in Pearl City on Thursday afternoon, April 9th. The report was called into the sheriff’s office from the Pearl Valley Eggs Company food processing plant. The time of the accident was at around 2:30 p.m.

Emergency units responded to the scene of the accident at the 900 block of South Kent Road. The man was found dead at the scene. His identity hasn’t been released at this time.

The SCSD and the coroner’s office are currently investigating the cause of death.
