Oak Forest, IL – Wrong-Way Collision Kills 2 on I-80

Oak Forest, IL (April 2, 2020) – A wrong-way accident left two people dead in Oak Forest, Illinois on Wednesday night, April 1st. The accident occurred on I-80 EB near I-57 at around 11:20 p.m. At that time, a driver traveling the wrong way on the interstate collided with another vehicle.

Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene. The identities of the deceased parties haven’t been disclosed at this time. At the time of the collision, there was reportedly a thick blanket of fog coating the roadway.

No other details have been released. An ongoing investigation into the accident is currently underway.
