Godfrey, IL (April 16, 2020) – On Tuesday afternoon, April 14th, a man was seriously injured on a train track in Godfrey, Illinois. The accident occurred at the 6300 block of Lake Drive at around 3:30 p.m. According to local reports, the injured victim was an employee of Kansas City Southern.

At this time, it’s unknown how the injuries occurred. The man was transported by helicopter to hospital in the St. Louis area. The man reportedly suffered serious injuries in the crash.

No further details on the accident are known at this time. An ongoing investigation into the crash is currently in progress.
