Clark Co, IL – Peter Ruth & David Brown Injured in Semi Rollover on I-70

Clark Co, IL (April 10, 2020) – Officials with the Illinois State Police responded to multiple crashes on I-70 caused by severe wind on Wednesday night, April 8th. One crash resulted in two injuries in Clark County, Illinois at around 11:11 p.m. Authorities arrived at the scene to render aid to the injured parties. 

Severe winds caused an eastbound rig to roll over onto its passenger side. The driver David B. Brown, 46, and his passenger, Peter E. Ruth, 55, were both injured in the crash. Both parties were taken to a nearby medical facility for treatment.

An ongoing investigation into the crash is currently underway.
