Chicago, IL (April 6, 2020) – A woman was killed following a hit-and-run collision in the West Garfield Park area of Chicago on Saturday, April 4th. The accident occurred at the 4400 block of West Madison Street. Tysheaka Roark, 32, was struck by a gray Ford traveling eastbound on the road at around 9:50 p.m.
The driver who hit Roark fled the scene. The injured victim was transported to Norwegian American Hospital where she was later pronounced dead. Roark’s autopsy revealed that she died due to multiple injuries sustained in the accident.
An ongoing investigation into the crash is currently underway.
