Chicago, IL (April 13, 2020) – A Sunday night crash on April 12th left six people injured in Chicago, including four teenagers. Local sources indicated that the accident occurred at the 300 block of West Washington Street at around 10:05 p.m. The crash happened when a Mercedes SUV driven by a 41-year-old woman ran a red light.
The Mercedes collided with a Nissan SUV. Three girls and a boy riding in the Mercedes were transported to Lurie Children’s Hospital for treatment. Both the driver of the Mercedes and the 30-year-old man driving the Nissan were taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
Citations are currently pending. Local officials are conducting an investigation into the cause of the accident.
