Illinois Stop-Sign Crashes

Intersections are already dangerous due to the high volume of vehicles that pass through them. That’s why traffic signals and stop signs are in place to help make the roads safer. However, when drivers don’t follow them, they risk causing serious accidents.

Each year, there are an estimated 700,000 reported stop-sign collisions nationwide. 40 percent of fatal accidents involve drivers who run stop signs. In some cases, injured parties can recover lost compensation with the help of a qualified Illinois car crash attorney.
