The threats of drunk driving are extremely serious and well-known across the country. Despite increased awareness of the dangers of driving under the influence, many drivers continue to drive while intoxicated. Experts estimate that one out of every four crashes involves a drunk driver.

When you drink and drive, you greatly reduce your ability to make reasonable decisions. Reaction time is impaired significantly, making drivers less able to avoid roadway hazards. Injured parties should consult with a qualified Illinois car crash attorney to discuss options for compensation.
