Neoga, IL (March 18, 2020) – Authorities responded to a T-bone collision in Neoga Township, Illinois in Cumberland County on Tuesday, March 17th, that left one driver injured. The crash occurred near the intersection of IL-121 and County Road 1000 North. Initial reports revealed that Karen L. Bline, 57, of Matoon, Illinois was driving a 2017 gray Jeep when she attempted to pass a stopped semi-truck.
While Bline attempted to pass the truck, Norbert E. Wolke, 86, of Montrose, Illinois was in the process of making a left turn in a 2014 gold Dodge van. Bline failed to see the Dodge and T-boned the driver-side of the vehicle as she attempted to pass. Bline was taken to a nearby medical facility for treatment after the crash.
No other injuries were reported. An ongoing investigation into the crash is currently in progress.
