Deadly Head-On Collisions in Illinois

Each year, head-on crashes account for nearly 10 percent of deadly car accidents in the United States. A majority of head-on crashes happen in rural areas during the evening when visibility is impaired. These collisions involve significant forces due to the fact that both vehicles are traveling directly toward each other at the time of impact.

Head-on accidents are often caused by reckless or distracted drivers who veer into oncoming traffic. They risk causing serious injury to themselves and others. Injured parties should consult with an Illinois car crash lawyer to pursue lost compensation.
