Head-on collisions are some of the most devastating. They aren’t the most common type of car accident, only accounting for 2 percent of crashes, but they make up for their severity. Head-on accidents are responsible for nearly 10 percent of deadly crashes.

When two vehicles collide head-on, the force of impact is tremendous. Even at low-speeds, head-on crashes can be devastating. These accidents are often caused by reckless drivers who veer into oncoming traffic.
