Glenarm, IL – Vehicle Collision Closes Lanes on I-55

Glenarm, IL (March 15, 2020) – There was a car accident reportedly Saturday afternoon on March 14th. The crash reportedly occurred near Glenarm, Illinois at around 12:35 p.m. Authorities responded to the scene of the collision on I-55 NB near mile marker 83.

All northbound lanes on I-55 were closed while investigators arrived at the scene. At this time, the factors contributing to the collisions haven’t been disclosed. The severity of the resulting injuries hasn’t been reported.

No further updates have been provided at this time. Local authorities are currently investigating the cause of the crash.
