Forest Park, IL – Beverly Harrison Killed in Crash on Des Plaines Ave

Forest Park, IL (March 21, 2020) – A woman was killed in a multi-vehicle collision on Monday, March 16th, in the Forest Park, Illinois area. The accident occurred at around 3:15 p.m. at the 1400 block of Des Plaines Avenue. Officers arrived at the scene and found Beverly Harrison’s vehicle on fire and helped to extinguish the flames. 

Initial reports revealed that Harrison, 62, was traveling south on Des Plaines Avenue when a northbound vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed lost control and collided with her car. Harrison was transported to the Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois where she was later pronounced dead. The driver of the other vehicle was also hospitalized. 

An ongoing investigation into the crash is currently underway.
