Intersections are a common site of serous crashes across Illinois. One-third of all intersection collisions involve drivers who run stop signs. 40 percent of fatal traffic accidents take place at stop-sign controlled intersections.

Stop signs are meant to make intersections safer for everyone. However, they’re ineffective when drivers fail to adhere to them. In some cases, injured parties can recover lost compensation by contacting a qualified Illinois car crash attorney.
