Pedestrian Accidents in Chicago

Cook County leads the state in pedestrian deaths. In 2013, 53 of Illinois’ 125 pedestrian fatalities took place in Cook County. Winnebago County had the second-highest rate with 11 pedestrian deaths.

Pedestrians are very vulnerable in the event of a crash. Sadly, many drivers fail to look out for pedestrians like they should, causing devastating accidents. Injured parties should consult with a qualified Illinois pedestrian injury attorney to pursue lost compensation.
