Deadly Illinois Pedestrian Accidents

Crashes involving motor vehicles are often fatal for pedestrians. There is little protecting those traveling by foot from the full impact of a collision. Sadly, pedestrian fatalities are on the rise in Illinois.

In 2010, there were 4,280 pedestrians killed in car accidents across the country. In 2012, 139 pedestrians suffered fatal injuries in Illinois after being involved in a crash. In some cases, surviving family members can obtain lost compensation by contacting an Illinois wrongful death attorney.
