Rockford, IL (February 7, 2020) – A pedestrian was struck in Rockford, Illinois late Tuesday evening, February 4th. Initial reports revealed that the crash occurred at the 3100 block of 11th street at around 6 p.m. Officials from the Rockford Police Department responded to the scene to render aid.

The pedestrian reportedly suffered facial injuries and was bleeding profusely at the scene. The victim is believed to have been transported to a nearby medical facility after the crash. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with local authorities.

An investigation into the crash is being conducted by RPD.
