Rockford, IL (February 7, 2020) – There were confirmed injuries resulting from a crash on Wednesday, January 5th, at a busy intersection in Rockford, Illinois. At around 7:40 a.m., two vehicles reportedly collided at the corner of North Perryville Road and East State Street. At least one person at the scene suffered injuries in the crash.

Officials from the Rockford Police Department closed off at the intersection following the accident. At this time, the cause of the crash isn’t clear. The circumstances of the crash aren’t known at this time.

An investigation into the cause of the accident is currently in progress.
