Speeding is a primary cause of many deadly crashes in Illinois. Speeding increases the potential of losing control of your vehicle, making you less able to avoid roadway hazards. This can be a dangerous combination when sharing the road with other drivers.

Annually, thousands of people are killed in high-speed crashes. 26 percent of all fatal crashes in 2017 were attributable to speeding motorists. Injured parties should contact a qualified Illinois car crash attorney to discuss their options for compensation.
