Deadly Illinois Head-On Accidents

The worst type of crash is a head-on collision for many reasons. These crashes involve two vehicles that are traveling toward the other, often at high speed. Being involved in a head-on crash can leave victims with life-threatening or fatal injuries.

On average, head-on collisions are responsible for nearly 10 percent of fatal crashes each year. These accidents often involve reckless or inattentive motorists that veer into oncoming traffic. In some cases, surviving family members can seek lost compensation with the help of an Illinois wrongful death lawyer.
