Mascoutah, IL – Motorcyclist Injured at N 6th St & Fuesser Rd

Mascoutah, IL (February 24, 2020) – A motorcyclist was injured in Mascoutah, Illinois on Sunday, February 23rd. The crash occurred at the intersection of North 6th Street and Fuesser Road at around 3:30 p.m. Initial reports revealed that George Fagan, 65, was riding a 2001 Ducati motorcycle northbound on 6th Street when he struck a 2008 Mitsubishi.

The Mitsubishi was reportedly waiting to make a left turn at the time of the accident. Fagan was wearing a helmet but was ejected from the bike. He was hospitalized following the crash for the treatment of sustained injuries. No other injuries were reported.

An ongoing investigation into the crash is being handled by local law enforcement officials.
