Chicago, IL – 1 Killed, 2 Injured on W Lake St

Chicago, IL (February 5, 2020) – A crash on Wednesday morning, January 5th, left one killed and two others injured in the West Garfield Park area of Chicago. The accident occurred at the 3800 block of West Lake Street at around 11:50 a.m. when two vehicles collided near the intersection of Hamlin Avenue and West Lake Street. Authorities responded to the scene to assist those injured in the crash.

Initial reports revealed that one victim, a 58-year-old man, was taken to Stroger Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. His identity has not been revealed at this time. Two other victims were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital.

An investigation into the accident is currently underway. More details will be released as it continues.
