Rockford, IL – 2 Injured In Semi-Truck Accident At I-39 & I-90

Rockford, IL (January 8, 2020) – Two residents of Lincolnwood, Illinois were left with injuries following a crash involving an Altima and a semi-truck near Rockford, Illinois on Monday, January 6th. The crash took place near the intersection of I-39 and I-90. Local sources reported the crash that morning at 9:42 a.m.

The driver of the Altima, Imran Sandozi, 31, was discovered trapped underneath the trailer axel of the semi. He was transported by med-flight to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. The passenger in the Altima, Shazia Khan, 29, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was also hospitalized.

No further updates are available at this time. Local authorities are currently investigating the cause of the crash.
