Mascoutah, IL (January 26, 2020) – A crash involving a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer in Mascoutah, Illinois left one person dead on Friday night, January 24th. The Illinois State Police reported that the crash occurred at around 8:30 p.m. The accident took place on I-64 WB near mile marker 27.
The circumstances of the crash aren’t clear at this time. The cause of the accident hasn’t been released by local authorities. The identity of the deceased victims has been withheld.
An ongoing investigation into the crash is being handled by ISP. More details will be released as it continues.
