Chicago, IL (January 4, 2020) – Authorities have released the identity of one of three women who were killed in a serious accident in the Morgan Park neighborhood of Chicago late Wednesday evening, January 1st. The accident occurred at the 1400 block of West 112th Street. Ruby Johnson, 28, was the occupant of a 2012 Nissan hatchback that ran a red light, causing the crash.
All three women in the hatchback, including Johnson, were killed in the crash. Their vehicle ran a red light, striking a black SUV and seriously injuring its occupants. The four occupants of the SUV, including a 3-year-old girl, are now believed to be in stable condition.
The driver at fault for the crash, who has yet to be identified, was killed in the accident. Local authorities are currently investigating the collision.
