Chicago, IL (January 16, 2020) – On Tuesday evening, January 14th, a man was fatally struck by a vehicle in Norwood Park area of Chicago on the city’s northwest side. Sources reported that the man was hit at the 6100 block of West Devon Avenue at around 7:45 p.m. The man, believed to be 35 to 45 years old, was pronounced dead at the scene by responding officials.
His autopsy revealed he was killed due to multiple injuries sustained in the crash. The identity of the victim hasn’t been released at this time. The driver who hit the man, a 36-year-old woman, was cited for failure to carry a driver’s license, failure to reduce speed, and not exercising due care.
No other information is currently known. Local authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
