The other injured parties, including the three-year-old, were taken to nearby medical facilities where they are said to be in stable condition. Local authorities are investigating the cause of the accident at this time.

Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families at this time. We hope for their full recovery.

Intersections are a hotspot for serious car accidents. This is because many drivers fail to make sure the path is clear before entering an intersection. Left-hand turns are overwhelmingly responsible for serious intersection collisions.

61 percent of all intersection crashes involve drivers making left-hand turns. These crashes can result in life-changing injuries for those involved. Injured parties may be eligible to recover lost compensation with the help of an Illinois car crash attorney.
