Rockford, IL – Man Killed In Rear-End Collision At 3800 11th St

Rockford, IL (December 18, 2019) – A driver in Rockford, Illinois was killed after colliding with a semi-truck on Wednesday morning, December 18th. The crash happened at the 3800 block of 11th Street at around 2:30 a.m. Officials at the scene reported that the deceased driver, a 23-year-old man, was traveling northbound when he collided with a northbound semi-truck.

Officials responded to the scene to render aid to the injured party. He was later pronounced dead by responding paramedics. The driver of the semi-truck was uninjured in the crash.

The area of the crash was closed due to police activity for severy hours. The investigation into the cause of the accident is still in progress.
