Orland Park, IL - Suspect Charged In Fatal Crash At Orland Square Dr

Orland Park, IL (December 7, 2019) - A man has been taken into custody for his suspected involvement in a fatal hit-and-run crash that killed one and left another seriously injured. The accident was reported at the 39 block of Orland Square Drive. At around 8 p.m. on Wednesday, December 4th, in Orland Park, Illinois.

The suspect has been identified as Paul Burak, 73, a retired bishop, who is believed to have fled the scene of the deadly collision. Burak was reportedly at the same Christmas party as the crash victims.

Margaret "Rone" Leja, 61, was killed in the crash, and Elizabeth Kosteck, 54, was seriously injured.

The two victims were taken to Silver Cross Hospital for treatment. Local authorities are investigating the collision at this time.
