Illinois Pedestrian Accidents

Thumbnail image for pfmstock7-182.jpgWhen pedestrians are involved in a collision with a motor vehicle, they often sustain catastrophic injuries. Pedestrians have little protecting them from the full impact of a car accident. Unfortunately, many pedestrians are killed in the aftermath of a serious collision.

Pedestrian fatalities have been on the rise in recent years. In 2017, a pedestrian was killed every 88 minutes on average in the United States. In some cases, surviving family members are able to seek lost compensation after the loss of a loved one.
