Kankakee, IL (December 18, 2019) – A Gardner man was killed following a crash with an 18-wheeler on Tuesday, December 16th. The crash occurred on IL-113 near the intersection with 3900W Road. The deceased victim was identified as Terry A. Rosenthal, 64.
According to an initial investigation, Rosenthal was traveling on IL-113 EB in a 2009 Chevy Cobalt when he left the roadway. Rosenthal over-corrected and was struck by a westbound 2013 Freightliner semi traveling on the highway. Rosenthal was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other information is currently available. Local authorities are conducting an investigation into the accident.
