Franklin Co, IL (December 30, 2019) – Multiple emergency units responded to a crash that sent four to the hospital in Franklin County, Illinois. The crash took place at around 12:06 p.m. on Saturday, December 28th, on I-57 near mile marker 72. According to initial reports, Marvin Dellorin, 44, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin was traveling on I-57 SB when he clipped a vehicle when attempting to pass it.

The vehicle that Dellorin struck was driven by Danna Williamson 35, of Dodge City Kansas. When Dellorin clipped Williamson’s vehicle, he lost control of his car, causing it to overturn multiple times and leave the roadway. Dellorin and his three passengers, all Milwaukee residents, were taken to nearby medical facilities for treatment.

Dellorin was ticketed for many violations, including driving without a valid license. He was reportedly distracted at the time of the crash but was not using a cell phone. An ongoing investigation into the crash is in progress.

Our thoughts are with Marvin Dellorin, the other injured victims, and their families at this time. We hope for their full recovery.
