Ford Heights, IL – 2 Injured After Police Chase On IL-394

Ford Heights, IL (December 1, 2019) – Two people were injured in a crash on Sunday, December 1st, after leading police on a chase from Indiana into Illinois. The chase began in Dyer, Indiana and ended when the injured parties crashed their vehicle. The crash site was located on the ramp from IL-394 NB to Lincoln Hwy in the area of Ford Heights, Illinois.

The male driver, 21, was hospitalized in critical condition after the crash. Another male passenger was also transported to a nearby medical facility for the treatment of sustained injuries. No statement has been provided on what caused the pursuit.

The identities of the involved parties have not yet been released. Local authorities are conducting an investigation into the incident.
