Chicago, IL – 2 Injured In Wrong-Way Crash On I-94 At 79th St

Chicago, IL (December 25, 2019) – A wrong-way collision on Christmas Eve involving five vehicles left two people injured in Chicago on Tuesday evening. The accident occurred near the intersection of I-94 (Dan Ryan Expressway) and 79th Street at around 10:37 p.m. Authorities at the scene reported that the crash was caused by a vehicle traveling southbound on I-94 NB.

Witnesses at the scene claimed that the driver was traveling at a high rate of speed. Two involved parties were transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center for treatment of sustained injuries. No other injuries were reported.
