Hit-and-run crashes are traumatic events. Drivers who flee the scene of a crash are committing a crime in the state of Illinois. Victims who are left at the scene may be unable to receive necessary medical treatment.

Each year, there are more than 737,000 reported hit-and-run collisions across the country. These crashes take thousands of lives. Injured victims may be able to recover lost compensation with the help of an Illinois hit-and-run lawyer.
